#8x1 Introduction to HTML and CSS
LO: To understand basic html code
LO: To be able to identify CSS coding.
Starter.
Copy the html text below in to Notepad.
Save the file in your sites folder.

What does the code do?
What do the different tags mean?
Annotate the code showing what you have identified and what the different aspects do.
CSS
Link for CSS tutorial
Print screen before and after you make changes.
Annotate your print screens stating the change you intended to make and how you did it.
Print your annotated print screens.
Plenary
Try writing your own html code or css in notepad. How do we link the two?

#9m4 #9p4 Animation
LO: To understand how to create an animation in Fireworks.
Starter: In pairs discuss - What is an animation? How are they made?
1. Open Adobe Fireworks.
(Start, All Programs, Adobe Master Collection CS5)
2. Create a new blank Fireworks document.
3. Draw a circle shape and change the colour to red.
4. Duplicate the state 4 times.
5. Edit each state so that the circle is in a different position each time.
6. Play the animation - What happens?
Have a go at creating your own animation. It could be a UFO landing, a Happy Birthday message, a running man, etc...
Plenary: Show case what you have done so far. Was it easy or hard? Why?
