#9p4 #9m4 HTML - Adding tables and images.
LO: To understand how to add tables and images to our web pages.
LO: To understand how to embed a video on to our web pages.
Starter:
Recap of last lesson. Add to your HTML annotations as we go through.
Main:
Using this tutorial, create a table in your web page that has 2 columns and 4 rows.
Print screen the html code you have written so far today. Annotate this, explaining what the code does. Describe in detail.
EXT:
Try embedding a You tube video on your web page.
Again print screen the steps you took to do this.
Plenary:
Print your print screens.
Blog about your progress this lesson, stating what progress you have made as well as what you are still unsure about.

- The columns will be labelled Advantages and Disadvantages.
- Give 3 of each for using html to create web pages.
- The images must represent the work you have done so far this year.
- Try aligning the images differently on the page. (right, center, etc)

#8x1 Introduction to HTML and CSS
LO: To understand basic html code
LO: To be able to identify CSS coding.
Starter.
Copy the html text below in to Notepad.
Save the file in your sites folder.
Main
HTML
What does the code do?
What do the different tags mean?
Annotate the code showing what you have identified and what the different aspects do.
CSS
Link for CSS tutorial
Print screen before and after you make changes.
Annotate your print screens stating the change you intended to make and how you did it.
Print your annotated print screens.

#9m4 #9p4 Animation
LO: To understand how to create an animation in Fireworks.
Starter: In pairs discuss - What is an animation? How are they made?
1. Open Adobe Fireworks.
(Start, All Programs, Adobe Master Collection CS5)
2. Create a new blank Fireworks document.
3. Draw a circle shape and change the colour to red.
4. Duplicate the state 4 times.
5. Edit each state so that the circle is in a different position each time.
6. Play the animation - What happens?
Have a go at creating your own animation. It could be a UFO landing, a Happy Birthday message, a running man, etc...
Plenary: Show case what you have done so far. Was it easy or hard? Why?
